# Setting Up Google Workspace as an Identity Provider

## How does it work?

The Avanoo platform works in the background. Every day, it's fetching data from your Google Workspace to track users, groups, groups, and SaaS activities changes.

To get this information, it needs two authorizations from your Google Workspace accounts:

View audit reports for your G Suite domain. [Learn more](https://accounts.google.com/)

View organization units on your domain. [Learn more](https://accounts.google.com/)

View groups on your domain. [Learn more](https://accounts.google.com/)

See info about users on your domain. [Learn more](https://accounts.google.com/)

First, login into your account on the platform: [app.avanoo.ai](https://app.avanoo.ai/)
